Are you responsible for your company’s online presence and for driving organic search traffic to your website? Whether it’s just you or if you have a team, you may benefit by learning all you can by attending one of our upcoming SEO courses. Search engine optimization (or in short: SEO) is an effective and inexpensive way to create more awareness about your business, drive more qualified traffic and leads to your website, and ultimately increase sales.
On my way back from an SEO training that I gave in Colorado Springs, Colorado, I ended up stopping by a long-time customer of ours in the Denver Tech Center. The account manager assigned to their account updates me on a monthly basis how things are progressing and I was not aware of any issues. Quite the opposite, I thought things are actually moving forward quite well. To my surprise, the customer started off by telling me that there was a big issue. Oh boy, what now! I seriously thought that this would be a rather pleasant meeting. Well, it turned out that the “big issue” was actually a good thing. Their organic search traffic from Google had reached an all-time high and they were worried that they couldn’t meet demand anymore for their products.
This customer initially attended one of our SEO workshops in Denver but then asked us to help them implement and maintain a digital marketing strategy. As you can see from the Google Analytics screenshot below, their website was so dramatically under-optimizing that back in April of 2013, it took us no time to make a huge difference right away. Although it was nice to see positive changes in a very short amount of time, organic search engine optimization is not a sprint but rather a marathon.
Since starting to work with them, we’ve been able to increase Google organic search visits from around 315 per month to a massive 3,920 in August of 2016. Online sales kept pace with this increase in organic search traffic and they are now dealing with a problem most of us would love to have!
Upcoming Online Search Engine Optimization Training
Did I catch your attention with this success story? I sure hope so. If you’re interested in attending one of our upcoming workshops, then I invite you to register for the January 18, 2017, instructor-led, half-day SEO training course. There’s so much to know about SEO and we’ll break it down in digestible, actionable chunks so you can start developing a plan right away. You get all the benefits of our on-site training class from the comfort of your home or office!
SEO Training in Denver and Boulder, Colorado
While most of our classes are held in person in the Denver area, the half-day online training is unique in that it’s a remote training class, which will be delivered using GoToWebinar. Don’t think you can hide behind your computer though, because it’s a very interactive class! To get the most out of it, you’ll want to participate. Just like with our other classes, we limit the number of participants so it allows you to speak up and ask questions whenever you need to.
You’ll still learn many of the same things that we teach in our in-person classes, but you won’t have to take the time to drive and you can wear comfy clothes. Oh, and you’ll have to provide your own coffee and lunch.
If online classes are not your thing, then maybe one of our upcoming in-person SEO certification trainings are a better fit for you. Our classes usually focus on:
- An introduction to SEO and digital marketing
- SEO keyword research and keyword mapping
- On-page and off-page SEO tips and best practices
- Content marketing
- How to use social media marketing for SEO
- How to audit and measure your efforts
After learning about these strategies, you’ll have the tools to know how to outrank your competitors on Google and other search engines. You’ll also get access to our process templates.
Preparing for An SEO Class
Depending on the class, attendees will benefit the most by having some prior online marketing knowledge and we also encourage you to become familiar with Google Analytics and Google Search Console (formerly known as Webmaster Tools) prior to attending a class. This will be helpful but it’s not required. We’ll show you these tools and we’ll work with them during our courses.
