[BSM Copilot V2] Our AI SEO Methodology Revealed | Friday SEO Tip

Hello and happy Friday! My name is Chris Raulf, founder and Chief Visionary Officer at Boulder SEO Marketing. I’m also an AI SEO expert, and I’m super excited to have our COO, Daniel Burns, with me today.

Daniel had a little health scare on Tuesday, but he’s back to 100% today and is glad to be back. That’s why Daniel was supposed to be part of our AI SEO webinar hosted on Wednesday, but I took over his part and presented our new BSM Copilot methodology. That’s why we’re doing this Friday SEO tip together.

We’re Doing More and More with AI

We’re now able to use AI to do many things we used to do manually just a few years ago. I want to show you what I presented in the webinar. Then Daniel will walk you through our new BSM Copilot methodology and what we’re launching next week.

Live Demonstration: AI-Written Content Ranking #1

Let me do an incognito Google search for “SEO price guide,” one of our target SEO keywords. This is a keyword we want to rank at the top in Google and in these AI Overviews.

As you can see, this is a guide we launched (or relaunched) just about over a week ago: SEO Costs in 2026, Price Guide for Local Businesses. Guess what? We work with many local service businesses, so this guide is perfectly aligned with our target audience.

This guide ranks at the very top in Google. It’s cited in AI Overviews. And here’s the remarkable part: This guide was entirely written by AI. By Virtual Chris.

This is something Daniel’s going to show you in more detail. But if you’ve read about Google’s guidelines on how to use (or not to use) AI for content creation, this is the way to do it right.

We have figured out how to use AI for many of the tasks we perform during client engagements. And critically, we test everything on our own website first. Things are changing. AI is mighty when used correctly.

Wednesday’s Webinar Recording

Before I hand it over to Daniel, I want to bring to your attention the link to the webinar recording we hosted on Wednesday. We had a lot of interest in this webinar. We had over 600 people sign up.

And make sure to join us on December 9th for our AI SEO and GEO Online Summit, where we have some of the top experts in the industry talking about AI, SEO, and generative engine optimization. Daniel will provide a deep dive into our methodology. What you’re getting today is basically a teaser of what’s coming at the summit.

With that being said, Daniel, briefly introduce yourself, and then let’s get into it.

Daniel Burns: Implementing AI Workflows at Scale

My name is Daniel Burns, COO here at Boulder SEO Marketing. The enormous responsibility I have, in addition to working very closely with clients to create strategies that make sense, is implementing AI workflows and strategy into our process.

Essentially, Chris is the company’s visionary. He’s going out there to understand what AI is best used for and how it’s used. My job is to take that vision and put it into a process. A repeatable process that our team can execute for our clients most efficiently.

There’s a lot to talk about, but as Chris said, I’m going to do a teaser so you know what we’re doing and what we’re about to implement with our team.

AI Works Really Well When Used Correctly

One of the things Chris said is that AI works really well when it is used correctly.

Before we had BSM Copilot, we had some excellent prompts. We did prompt management, putting things together. That was before AI was really integrated into our process.

What you’re looking at is BSM Copilot Version 1. For the past 12 months, we’ve been working with this version of Copilot. It’s been very powerful and has produced a lot of content for our clients that’s been ranking extremely well.

But recently, we just finished working on what we call BSM Copilot Version 2, which is extremely interesting. Over these past few months, so many updates have happened with AI models, agents, prompting, and the ability to do more with AI.

BSM Copilot Version 2: What’s New

Let me give you a brief overview of the two big things we’re implementing with the team.

1. Custom Client Agents with Memory Systems

The first part of BSM Copilot V2 is making sure we build a custom agent for each of our clients. We now have a custom agent, Version 2, that’s much more powerful and smarter.

We’re putting a lot more information in there and training it so it becomes significantly more intelligent. But critically, there’s a great memory system built in.

The more this agent is used and the more feedback we give it, the brighter it becomes over time. We’ve been getting fantastic reviews from our clients about the input and the voice they hear from these client agents.

2. Foundational Modules

One of the things we do with this initial agent is create foundational documents, which we didn’t have before. These modules that you see include:

  • Expert Profile Module
  • Business Entity Module
  • Buyer Persona Modules
  • Brand Messaging Guide Modules

These are essential directives for the AI when we’re creating content. They make sure everything is done in the client’s voice, vision, and communication style.

What Is a Custom Client Agent?

Let me interrupt quickly to clarify. A custom client agent is basically a replication of a real person. One of our clients, or in my case, Virtual Chris.

I do a lot of speaking engagements. I speak all over the world about AI SEO and generative engine optimization. When I say somewhere, we capture the transcript of what I discuss. It’s net new content, and we feed it into Virtual Chris.

Believe me, my wife is not super happy about it, but Virtual Chris is very knowledgeable about what I do work-wise. That’s what a custom client agent is.

How Custom Agents Reduce Manual Work

What this allows us to do is, if Chris were one of our clients, for example, we would use this custom Chris (digital Chris) to create a lot of the communication, content, and strategy. It allows us to handle much of the heavy lifting.

When we produce content and give it to Chris to read, 90% of it is done. Chris reviews, edits, and looks it over. But the AI handles the heavy lifting. This allows us to do a lot more in a much shorter period of time. That’s one of the things working tremendously well.

During the summit, I’ll go into much more detail on how we create these agents and provide specific examples.

BSM Copilot Version 2: The Complete System

The initial slide I showed you was Copilot Version 1. This is Copilot Version 2. Without going into excessive detail right now, you can see there’s a lot more going on.

The fascinating part is we’re putting a lot more intelligence into the process. We’re putting a lot more research into the process, a lot more context.

The actual BSM Copilot engine is a lot smarter. It’s working with that custom client agent, which, again, is much more intelligent and powerful. The deliverables we’re creating are much better than they used to be.

We’re able to do a lot more, and we can do it much more quickly. This methodology allows us to do more work, better work. You’re getting more for less.

Two Key Workflows

Workflow 1: Micro Strategy Content

This is our process for turning an existing low-hanging-fruit page on the website into the best page on the internet. We identify pages with potential, strategically optimize them, and turn them into comprehensive resources that dominate their keywords.

Workflow 2: Source Content Creation

This is where we take transcripts of podcasts, webinars, or YouTube videos and put them through our process. It’s really well thought out, and it creates fantastic web content with a wide range of assets that rank extremely well.

This is a preview of what we as a team are actually implementing this week. By the middle of next week, we’ll be implementing this for all our clients.

During the online summit on December 9th, I’ll go into much more detail on how all of this works. At that time, I’ll also be able to answer any questions you have.

Join Us on December 9th for the Full Walkthrough.

We’re excited for next week’s online summit, again on December 9th. We’re going to host this online summit regularly. It’s an evergreen link, so bookmark it and get on our list.

Daniel, I’m super excited for next week’s complete walkthrough.

As always, stay safe and healthy, and we’ll talk to you next time.

Cheers,
Chris & Daniel
