A Real-World Builder Combining AI Model Training With Front-End Craft

Sean Andrei Due brings hands-on experience in both AI systems and full-stack development to his role as Junior Developer on Boulder SEO Marketing’s AI Taskforce. His path into AI wasn’t a textbook one. It started with a real-world project that solved a real problem, and the experience shaped how he approaches everything he builds today.
That project was FlareGuard, an AI-based fire detection system Sean developed to detect and classify fire severity. Working on FlareGuard introduced him to AI model training, data preparation, and full system integration, becoming the turning point that shifted his focus from building functional systems to building smarter ones. Before joining BSM, Sean also worked on web and mobile projects using React Native, Firebase, and PHP with MySQL, giving him a well-rounded foundation across the stack.

On the AI Taskforce, Sean focuses primarily on the front end, where he handles UI and UX development, debugging, QA, and testing, as well as building and reviewing new features.

He also participates in BSM’s daily connect meetings to brainstorm and collaborate as a team. His contributions help make AI-powered features easier for users to interact with, while his QA work ensures those features run smoothly and reliably in production.

His core toolkit spans TypeScript, Python, and JavaScript, with Next.js on the front end and Python on the back end, including PyTorch for model training. He works in environments such as Google Colab, Jupyter Notebook, Visual Studio Code, and Antigravity, building features that integrate AI capabilities with real user needs.

Sean describes the AI Taskforce’s work in plain terms: BSM creates smart tools that reduce manual work and improve how systems run, automating tasks so things get done faster while using AI to help systems process information, produce useful outputs, and support better decision-making. What excites him most about the intersection of AI and SEO is the constant evolution. AI takes care of repetitive research and content work while helping the team make better decisions with data, and the field keeps changing fast enough that there’s always something new to learn and build.

Based in Mexico, Pampanga, Philippines, Sean balances his professional work with a love for building and upgrading motorbike engines, especially tuning them for performance. He also plays basketball and enjoys cooking during his free time, the same hands-on instincts that show up in how he approaches engineering.
