If your website serves a global audience or contains multilingual content, this tip is for you. Martin Splitt from Google’s Search team recently shared a video on international SEO best practices, and one standout point was the use of the “href” tag.

This little code snippet is critical when optimizing your site for different regions and languages. It helps Google understand which content is intended for which audience—whether it’s for English speakers in Australia or French speakers in Canada.
